NTV Awards – Cast Your Votes Now!

Those who enjoyed the recent BBC Sherlock drama may wish to register their approval for both the series and one of its two leading stars by voting in The National Television Awards whose nominees were unveiled this week.  These are the only TV awards (UK) where all the winners are chosen by the public.  Voting closes 11 october 2010.

The Sherlock series has been nominated in the Drama category, one of 33 choices.

Both Benedict Cumberbatch (for Sherlock Holmes) and Martin Freeman (for John Watson) have been nominated in Drama Performance – the largest category.  They are among a total of 50 names.  You can however only vote for one of them – tick the box of your choice.

You can vote using the form in the current Radio Times (25 September – 1 October 2010).  Alternatively you can vote by phone – 0901 888 2010 (charges apply) or online – www.nationaltvawards.com.  You’ll also find details at www.sherlocking.org.
