The Sherlock Special episode – “The Abominable Bride”, which airs on BBC One on New Year’s Day 2016, will be screened simultaneously in over 100 cinemas across the UK/Ireland (the first time this has happened with Sherlock). The cinema shows include bonus material.

Booking starts this Monday – 2 November. Click here for cinema list. Best advice is not to delay booking as demand is expected to be heavy.

For the first time also, Sherlock will air in the US (on PBS) on the same date as the UK premiere. It will be also shown in US cinemas, on 5 and 6 January (more details).
