“What is it, then?” I asked*

“Ineffable twaddle”

The rumours that the BBC is going to do a Sherlock Christmas Special are just “ineffable twaddle,” to quote Holmes. As for an air date for Series 3, there’s no sign of it. Early New Year seems the best bet.

For those who just can’t wait, here are a few crumbs to devour.

Message from Seattle

The other day an unexpected message arrived at the Shipping Office from Frannie Davis of the After-School A&A Program in Seattle Public Schools. Here is some of what she had to say:

“A boy I am tutoring found your website main deck links page while working on his research paper for English class and I just had to tell you! He wanted to share another page that he really loved: Would you mind adding this page Matt found to your site with all of your other helpful resources?”

We promised Frannie that we’d feature the story including the link in a forthcoming Bulletin, which is why you’re reading it now.

And talking of Seattle, there’s a Sherlock Conference in town from 4 – 6 October 2013. What are the chances of Frasier and Niles Crane putting in an appearance?
