Three Scoops For Sherlock!

The BBC’s recent Sherlock series has proved the big winner at this year’s Royal Television Society Craft and Design Awards, held at London’s Savoy Hotel, picking up best picture enhancement, best tape and film editing in a drama, and best original title music.  Coincidentally, BBC Three are repeating Sherlock, starting with ‘A Study in Pink’ on Sunday 28 November 2010 at 7.30pm.

Sherlock Still To Come.

There may still be about 12 months to go, but the first still has just appeared from the sequel (as yet untitled) to Warner Bros Sherlock Holmes (2009).  The shot features Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.

A Society For Scotland.

The glaring omission from the list of worldwide enthusiasts has been rectified, thanks to Barry Young, owner of Young’s Interesting Books in Skirving Street Glasgow, who has recently founded The Self-Important Scotland Yarders AKA the Sherlock Holmes Society of Scotland.
