Sherlock Holmes for Belfast Film Festival

The 15th Belfast Film Festival programme (16-25 April 2015) will include a screening of Murder by Decree (1979), which Alex Kane once said was his favourite Sherlock Holmes film of all time.

It will be shown on Saturday 18 April 2015 at 8pm at Freemasons’ Hall, Arthur Square in Belfast city centre, preceded by an introduction by film historian Robert J. E. Simpson.

Book online or by phone – 02890246609, or in person at the Belfast Welcome Centre, 9 Donegall Square North, Belfast.

This is the second time in recent years that the Festival has done Sherlock Holmes proud. In 2013 they showed The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970) at QFT Belfast.

Sherlock Holmes aside, the programme is another really eclectic mix; well worth taking a bit of time to browse through its 100 pages.

If you prefer a print programme, copies are readily available in outlets across the city such as selected NI libraries, Linen Hall library, train/bus stations (e.g. Europa and Belfast Central) and the aforementioned Belfast Welcome Centre.

Don’t forget!
