Sherlock Holmes on Radio4 Extra

BBC Radio4 Extra’s special season of Sherlock Holmes plays and documentaries continues this Saturday (1 Nov) with an adaptation from 1988 of “the supreme adventure”, followed by a short reading.

The Hound of the Baskervilles

The Baker Street sleuth pursues a creature stalking a noble family at a Dartmoor mansion. Combined version of an original two-part adaptation by Bert Coules, starring Roger Rees as Holmes and Crawford Logan as Dr Watson.

Sat 1 Nov 6am, repeated 4pm (also Sun 2nd). Lasts 1 hour 50 minutes.

In Search of Professor Moriarty

Sat 1 Nov 7.50am, repeated 5.50pm (also Sun 2nd at 5.50am). Lasts 10 minutes.

Sherlock on BBC3

BBC3 are giving the first series of Sherlock another run. We overlooked mentioning this in our last Bulletin but are attempting to rectify that omission now by telling you that Episode 2 – ‘The Blind Banker’ – is pencilled in for this Sat (2 Nov), starting at 9pm. Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards – Results

Amanada Abbington received the Dagger for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Sherlock at the ceremony on Monday last (27th).  The full results are here.
